so i bought all the crap i need to convert my ss tail into an s tail last summer. seat, undertray with latch cable, and some slightly damaged seat rails. i just dont care to do it anymore so this stuffs for sale. its a stock seat with a 4'' tear along the very back edge. great for building a custom seat (which i was intending on doing). the seat rails can be repaired by someone that has access to a tig welder and the undertray is in great shape. shoot me an offer on this stuff as i just dont have the energy or care to perform the swap anymore.

I'd be interested in your seat. I don't know much about covering seats, so even though I can learn eventually, is it something I'd be able to ride on for a while? Is it the normal height seat, and not the SCG or 05 cityX version?

ok here are some pics;

the seat is definately rideable and its just dusty from sitting around in the garage. i was told it was a stock xb seat. recovering seats is fairly easy but the more seams it has the more work there is involved with making a new cover. if interested i can have this one re-covered by my friend for an additional fee.

here is the right hand side seat rail. its in great condition with the exception of a hairline crack that has formed around the lower mounting point. it does not go all the way through and can be repaired by a tig welder and then re-drilled. thats what i had intended on doing to it.

here is the left side seatrail that has more damage than the right. it looks like the passenger peg broke a chunk out of its mounting hole area. i also had intended on having a section welded into it using a tig welder (i do not have the missing section)

i'd take 30 bucks for this one as its a little worse looking. plus s & h

but thats all the damage that i noticed on them. obviously the seat rails were part of some sort of accident of sorts. i bought them as you see them from another member a while back. havent put any of these parts on my ss so nothing has been modded for fitment. hopefully someone will have more drive to put this together and make it work than i have lol. but of coarse what you see is what you get and i pointed out all the damage so i dont want to hear any excuses lol. so 140 plus s & h takes it all. or will trade for???????

im currently wanting either a smoked tail light lens, also considering a 2010 led tail light. maybe a one of those plus cash or something idk. im also in need of the bottom part of a spedo housing. one of my mounts broke free from mine for some reason and harley wont warranty it. let me know what you have. but these things will just be sitting in my garage.......
