Well I had a 2005 xb12s I picked up beginning of 2010 with 400 miles on it for $4800..put on little about 7000 miles in one summer...

Got infected with something and one day went and traded it in for a 2008 1125R with 1600 miles on it!!!

gave me 3250 on trade in...thought it was a pretty good deal

twp- nice bike ,Rt and skizzy are right!! That was my first mistake on my first ride with the CR (I was also going from a 9 to the 1125)I grabbed a bunch of throttle in first and I saw the sky! [smirk]

I think they look awesome, lots of people stop me just to comment on the pods :D

I saw some aftermarket radiator cowls online once and they looked amazing. I've only seen them once though, not sure why they never caught on because the bike looked so much better with them.

Well...im 21 years old...full time student and full time employed. it would be hard to afford two bikes...since my first one wasnt paid off! and i have a car payment fml....

I have not rode it yet...****ty wisconsin weather!

And i tried selling it on Craiglist for 4k but no takers.

My old xb12 is for sale at Jamies Customs in Big Bend Wi. GREAT PLACE!!

I wonder is the cowls could be removed then just angle the radiator out so some air could be routed thru. The rc51 is the same way with side mounts and it doesn't have the hideous vents

That picture looks weird! ... something's missing ... ohhhhh: I know what it is. There' isn't a crowd of people gathered around them trying to figure out what planet they're from! Haha! I have a red CR and my buddy has a faired R and when we stop somewhere at the same time, depending on where and when, there's usually some lookers that have to stop by! Especially with the "that sounds like a Duc" (but it really doesn't—it sounds BETTER than that) Barker exhaust.

twp,
I am intitled to my own opinion as u r too, and I did not mean any foul, very sorry if you took it that way. thats y I put the ->:D
1125 cr was the first Buell I ever rode, and borrowed it for a weekend. I have also rode an R very torquey quick bike, I just didnt like the 30 mpgs I was getting when I borrowed the cr so I figured these bikes were not for me. I commute alot. Have fun!
