Do you guys ever go down to Quaker Stake and Lube in CB, IA? Wednesday nights they have a big bike night where lots of people with bikes get together and hang out then go for rides? I have never been but have been thinking about going down there? You guys interested?

Yes Blood, I go sometimes on Wed. Ussally just to eat and B.S. I also go on Thursdays for car night as well. I mostly go to FlashBacks off of 84th and Center on Wednesdays though. They have cars and bikes and its not as far from my house. I have PM'd a few of the other riders in Omaha and they seem down for getting together as well. Have to try and round people up one of these days and represent for Buell!

I think it would be a pretty good time if we could get some Buells down at Quaker. I am up for anything. Anytime you are looking to get together PM me. I am on here everyday! This Sat. might be a good day to do a little riding or meet up.

back roads from glenwood to cb, that's what I'll be taking up, I've got a good 60 mile drive to get up there,

we're also lookin at 80's but thunderstorm possibilities on sat, I'm cool with it as long as I don't get anymore of that damn hail

I got your PM bonechip. Sorry I never responded, I've been busy with finishing up this term of school, work, getting back into shape, and trying to start a new business. I haven't even been on any of the forums for either of my bikes all winter.

I don't know when I'm going to get either of my toys out of the garage. They are both due for scheduled servicing and I don't have the money or the time right now to get them out to Dillon Bros. School is done the first week of May. After that things should settle down a little for me. I definitely want to get out and ride with you guys this summer though! I haven't been to Quaker Steak even to eat yet so I want to get out there a few times too!

I don't know how Flashbacks is on bike nights but the girlfriend and I went in there a one night and I was not impressed with the crowd at all. Place kind of creeped me out actually.

Its ok RWB.. I know how that is. My plates are due on my bike but the damn IRS just took my savings!

I dont mind Quaker, but the 2 times I went it was mainly Harley guys and their garage jewelry. That was ok when I had my custom.. but that was awhile ago. Not sure how it will be now. There maybe alot more of the OTHER guys there now.. We will definitely have to check it out!

The only thing I liked about FB is that you get to look at cars as well. Being that I love anything with wheels... But, if they aren't your thing, I can totally understand.

I also like almost anything with wheels! I rode through Flashbacks one Wednesday night last summer and saw that there was a lot of people there (cars/bikes). I just rode through though and didn't stop, but I did like seeing everyone's toys out there. Maybe it is a different crowd on bike nights. The night we went in the bar was just a regular night on the weekend and we went in and had a few beers and there were a lot of trashy and sketchy people in there.

Up on 84th street in the Brewskys/Spaghetti Works parking lot I always see cars/bikes out there during the summer. I can't remember what night it is but I always see the cars driving down there on my way home from lifting at 24 Hour Fitness. Then I pass that parking lot and start drooling. :p

If I can remember right its Wednesdays that they have cars there. I take my 56 there sometimes as well as FB's. on Thursdays. I think a place called Justyntyme sponsors it there in the Spaghetti works plaza.

Yes, there are a few shady bikers at FB's, but on car night they have bikes as well and those people are ussally pretty decent.

Easter Sunday I went on a ride to glenwood,ia the backway , then to fremont,ne , a bit chilly but totally worth it :)

I always take glenwood off of 34 to get up to omaha, the curves aren't much but those are like the best around this area anyway

I actually took ,"Veteran memorial hwy" to "Wabash Ave" to "221st street" to glenwood,never even knew the name of the roads,it's how I use to drive to council bluffs and home when I first turned 16 :)

Lots of fun back roads that way.. I'm thinking about doing it again tonight suppose to be warmer, may stop by the quaker steak and lube thing on the way back.

I traded a guy my stock pipe for his Jardine and I will be putting it on this week. Do any of you know how to do a TPS Reset on an 03XB9R or have the spy cable and software to do it?

Sorry, I dont have the stuff to do that on the older ones. Im not sure if you have to remap it or not. Somone on here surely has done it though..

I did it to mine over the winter, and I could give you some help depending on when you're available otherwise just follow the vids and I'll give you the stuff to use, I'm havin some issues with my bike at the moment, some *ssh*le decided they were going to roll it out of my parking spot and dump it.. I came out of work to find it tipped over, my left peg is broken and one of my blinkers broke, then it started surging and stalled on the interstate.. then as I'm pulling into town after I finally got it going it dies again and when I started it back up it sounds like something is hitting somewhere on the front cylinder...grrr

Oh man that really sucks. Let me know if there is something I can give you a hand with. Again, I am not the most mechanically inclined person, but I can turn a wrench or be an extra set of hands if needed.

it looks like I'll either have to replace the crank or my piston rod has some play and I'll have to do more extensive work, I'm hoping if it's either of these I'll have to do the first, but I've still got hope that maybe it's the primary tension but whatever it is the bolt is down for a while and I might have to just tool around on the blast lol

It wasn't me. I don't make it down there very often. I have to be honest, there are a 3 or 4 buells around town that I don't think are on here. I pass one quite often in the morning. It is a black and red firebolt and he is always heading east on Fort around 8:15-8:25am. I don't know who he is.

Twin peaks bike nights are OK... mostly harleys like quacker stake but the food isn't that good.. girls are all sexy though.. goin to quacker tonight though if weather stays ok
