So I just bought my first bike it just so happened to be a buell xb9r. I was wondering what all would be good to do to it. It has the race ECM, exhaust, and filter. Not sure if it has the re-route done yet. But besides that what else can I do for more power. And where can I get the parts

Yah ride it, if it is your first bike, get to know what you can do with it.
Can do things like racing sparkies-Champion make em, white wire mod, air stack removal, comp leeds 8.5mm, right side air scoop-keep the rear cylinder cool, free spirits final drive tensioner. All this is easy to do, and it is external, no pulling anything apart.
Most important of all good oil, I like synthetic one that is rated for bikes and is a class 4 oil. Mobil now make one have not seen it in Australia yet, but I am sure it is available in the states.
Good luck

Congratulations on your first bike and a good choice at that. Sounds like your off to a good start with what mods have already been done. Definetly use the good oil, I only use Royal Purple. Also some good plugs would be good.

Congrats on the bike and welcome. I have the same model. Do you know how to load pics? With your race setup you should have plenty of power. Your sitting on almost 1000cc's on a lightweight 375 pound bike. It won't go 200 mph but it will get up to 120mph fast! Be careful, get some frame puc's, get some riding gear and have fun. [up]

I'll put some pics up soon. Forgot to mention I've been riding for a couple years but. Never owned my own. Thanks for the tips. I'm a truck driver so I don't get to much time to ride. Iput amsoil on it and ngk plugs. Thanks again for the suggestion

Welcome aboard. If you already have the race kit on it and it runs good, with no drivabilty problems, LEAVE IT ALONE and ride it. I'd bet it has enough power now to exceed your riding skills. Mine does.
