After winterization I hooked up my battery backwards being excited and in a hurry to ride. When I did that the fan came on, I relized it right away swapped em around and checked fuses, the kew switch fuse was blown so I swapped it out. The key switch fuse keeps blowing... Quick fix or did I F something up?

happened to me, you need to replace the starter button housing, replacing the fuse doesn't do anything.

Swap your relays around too in case one of those is bad before you tear into the button housing.
Hopefully the fuse protected the switch.

If the fuse blows I would RE-place the relay just for the ease of mind. Plus it's maybe 6-8 bucks. The Start Switch housing is about 34 bucks or so.You may want to remove the Start /Kill assembly and see if it even damaged it before you buy one. IF the contacts ARE damaged or Burned together THE Temper in the metal is ruined and should be replaced. If you just clean it up and bend it back it just may work BUT it could do it again(BUT this time it could stick together & take the Starter with it).Check it out really good so as to be certain.Good Luck.I'm with Steven hope the Relay protected it!
