I just picked up my first buell today...an 04 Lightning xb12s.

I am curious to see what others have done to their own, as far as aftermarket is concerned.

Has anyone ever done halos on their headlights?
Or accent LEDs?

Lots of companies make LED kits and lights.

I have yet to see headlight halos

i may consider this... http://www.geocities.com/jvxdriver/eagle_eyes.htm

...Does anyine have oictures if leds on our bikes. I love the look of them, however, the typs of bikes i see that ave them, have a lot of chrome. we dont, i wonder how ours would compare?

Aftermarket bars, mirrors, and exhaust are a must in my opinion. First three things I did after I picked mine up. They've made the most difference to the look and feel of the bike. I've thought about halo's...but in the end prefer to spend my time on the performance upgrades instead of aesthetics. Besides, I don't ride a lot at night. But I do think they look pretty cool.

that home made angel eye kit is pretty damn cool!

I don't think I can manage the time to make a set, but it looks neat anyhow!

Drummers sound pretty good. but I ended up going with special ops. should be here in a couple weeks.
Odie traded me for an LED tail light, so its a win win for me and him.

I made the angel eyes, just trying to figure out how to make the LEDs brighter. I also just ordered a Jardine GP-1, and got rid of those stupid mirrors. Wrapped the headers also. I guess you can say i got the mod bug. Next is to grind down the fender.

hey scheetz, you do the breather re-route yet?
It can be found here. (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Do-It-Yourself-Buell-Mods/Re-route-hoses/2) very useful mod, and cheap too.
