I just intalled 4 small led's replacing my turning signals and now the lights stay on with a buzz noise. I'm told I need a LED modulator becouse the led's are not pulling enough amps to activate the blinking. I checked with my local HD and no-one knows where I can get one. Any suggestions?

Its called a Load Equalizer. It installs inline witht the signals to draw the proper amperage to light the signals. Runs about $27 bucks. You can get them through your local dealer through Drag Specialties from a company called Badlands.

P/N - DS-272236 $26.95

Will I only need one of these load equalizers? I have swapped both front and rear with led. How does itinstall?

Yeah will only need one equalizer for the whole set up if you buy the right one.

Just did the same thing on my bike. Went to napa and had them cross reference a led flasher unit for me. The one i got is a two prong with external ground lead. So i made some pigtails, hooked it up and it works great. Cost me about 50 bucks though.

I tried the do it yourself and mine was sealed. No way to get it open without a dremel. I ended up just running over to Autozone and picked up an EP-36 LED Turn Signal Flasher (http://www.autozone.com/electrical-and-lighting/turn-signal-flasher/novita-turn-signal-flasher/6417_0_0/) for $12. Works fine with front and rear LED turn signals on my bike. Flashes normal rate.
