View Full Version : WTB: Firebolt - In or Around Midwest, around $3k.

06-01-2011, 11:43 AM
I am very serious about picking up a firebolt in the next couple of weeks. I am not picky as to color, or mileage. I want an 03 or newer, and I would prefer a clean title. I want a clean bike, for right about 3k. I am willing to drive a decent distance or meet you somewhere. I am from Minnesota.

Please email me at burzac@bethel.edu

Or text me at anytime: 320.295.2312

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I realize my budget is a little low. Times are hard, and I have seen quite a few listed between 3-4k, and you can usually get people to move a little on their pricing. My biggest issue is that all these deals are in Jersey or way South. I have been checking CL, thanks for the posts. It is always nice to have an extra pair of eyes helping me out :)

No problem i cruise craigslist for buells daily in my computer class, it beats doing the work in suppose to!

I have an 03 XB9R 15k on it. Its blue w/ the race kit and recently installed HID's and LED signals. I would be willing to let it go for $3200. I am outside of Chicago. There are pictures under my profile.

Jeepin, what is your email. I checked out the pictures, and needless to say I am very interested. Chicago is a manageable distance for me, as long as I can pay someone to take me to the bike. Let me know.

@nikfleisch: you are a man after my own heart. My 8 hour day of work consists on message board posting, craiglisting, and badweatherbikers/buellxb forums looking for buells. I love it.

I've been lookin for a lightning or Ulysses around those prices, for a longggg time. In iowa

Ditto, I'm currently in physics on the iPhone, idk if I could go without looking/thinking about motorcycles and not go crazy

06-02-2011, 12:56 PM
Moto - how much could you spend? I have found some pretty nice lightning's in that price range. I have passed because i really like the firebolt, but i could link you up to the lightnings i have come across. they are scattered around the midwest, too.

I feel the exact same way for sure dude. Always thinking/looking for/at bikes. Are you in school or what? do you have a bike?

@ MotoX6: really? I havent seen anyone at Bethel with a firebolt? What's his name? you can PM me if you dont want to post it. I would love to connect with him and take a look at the bike. Let me know!

@ Iceracer17: VERY interested in your bike. Distance is do-able for sure, and black and gold is my favorite of all the color schemes. I never got your email. trying emailing me at zachary-burton@bethel.edu or just text me: 320.295.2312. I really, really want to hear from you. I would love pics as well!

Let me know when you get your bike, im the guy from austin Mn that you have been emailing. I still have one buell left anyway. [up]

06-04-2011, 09:25 PM
Yea they are hard to find in the midwest for some reason. Im located near chicago and had to drive 700 miles round trip to get my xb12. I hope you find one, and let the addiction take over! :D

I love this forum. You guys here are sick. I am happy to be apart of a good community, soon ha. AjGerdes, I appreciate all of your help - you arent selling the other one you have are you? If you are, i want it, if you arent, lets ride sometime maybe?

and yeah, the midwest does seem super hard to find any Buells. I feel like they are rampant down in like Georgia, Virginia, and California, but you look around here and its brutal. Hopefully I will get lucky with one of these other forum members!

06-05-2011, 12:22 AM
haha nope not selling my other buell but we will have to go for a ride this summer once you get your bike.

06-05-2011, 04:53 PM
haha good call. Definitely. once i nail down which bike I am getting and pick it up, i will contact you and we will get together for a ride sometime while the weather is nice.
