Exhaust needs cleaning, melted plastic does come off. Front brake rotor and caliper not damaged. It has an american sport bike air cleaner.Alum mounting bracket can be cleaned up,and chrome breather looks ok. Bike had only 8k. I owned it 6 yrs. I'm 59 bike wasn't beat on ever. I cant seem to load a pic on this thread, but its in Buell members pics. Sorry if in the wrong place. Pm me your email if you cant see it. Thx's

Hey, thanks for posting this Pic here. A battery charger malfunctioned while it was charging and the power cord caught the seat on fire. Had to put the garage fire out and lost the bike doing so. There's IS $500 worth of bike parts here.

that's just a downright shame! I'd buy it if I lived closer. Even if it didn't run again it'd still be worth the cash to make it look nice and stand it in my living room!

Sure is-was, especially last week during Laconia bike week[mad]. Win some you lose some. I have all the removed stock exhaust air box + stock computer goes with it Any other buell forums on the web I can try if no one here wants it? If not Im going to remove the front wheel and tire exhaust rotor and caliper and send the rest to the scrap yard.Ive been told the frame is compromised by the heat??

What brand or charger? That's pretty concerning to me!

Sears 8-10 amp about 14yrs old. No internal circuit breaker on the charger. The insurance adjuster who came to see the garage claim issues, had the exact same unit at home. He said hes was going to take his to the dump. No recall on the charger, he looked it up for me. I put the bike on the charger and went to get new gas, and it caught on fire while I was gone, all of 10 minutes.

Did the insurance adjuster say the frame is compromised, or did someone else tell you?

No, he didnt just a comment I heard off the cuff. On the other hand, Ive been told by several bikers, that to the contrary, just the frame and clear title is worth $500.
