I will use a steel plate. You will never be able to tell I fixed the cover from the outside. It will use the stock screws for the cover, but I shorten them a touch so they will need to be sent with the cover. $125/ includes return postage for the 48 states. Other countries, I will have to get a rate, and let you know. Thanks.

This is a great fix. i'm sending gunut my broken cover next week. this is pretty much a bullet proof fix, better than spending $250.00 for a new cover. i had to buy one a few weeks ago when mine broke, i will keep it as a spare[up].
