This is my '06 X, 47k kilometers, corbins saddle, race ecm, race exhaust, k&n filter, breather reroute, air filter cover mod. Partialy headers covered with tape mainly to keep the heat off. well, mine is hardly custom - probably more personalised...did exhaust mod, blacked out the gold inlays on the touring boxes and scoop, vinyl decal for the screen and carbon-style airbox decals.

thinking about blacking out the rear handles, tail, and rear frame rail. also leaning towards fitting hte X's front fender - looks meaner i think!

They are indeed factory 1125CR mirrors. They take just a bit to make them fit- remove the bases and swap them left to right, space them up with 3 washers (the washers will be hidden by the bases) and wire em up.

I struggle with mods on the Uly. I have always ridden sport bikes, and the first thing to do was strip all the plastic and extra crap....but the extra crap is functional on the Uly! I like having mods like the CR mirrors that retain usefulness (bright LED turn signals and decent mirrors) while still looking stock.

Well no one else is saying it but I'm impressed with old DragonSlayer's riding. Looks like he got the left peg down and I never realized the bags could get so close to the pavement either. I'm pretty sure my wife would be pounding me on the side of my helmet if I were leaning like that with her aboard.

The Cr mirrors with a the led blinkers kinda gave me another idea 2 put my signals on the bark buster might look kinda cool with a led amber bar on each instead of the big floppy stock ones

2007 Uly picked it up Monday with 6500 miles. Previous owner had already totally debadged it and it was black. I mod or change up something on ALL of my vehicles and I thought the 'utilitarian' look of the Uly would work well with OD Green. I am going to do white Buell Lettering on the airbox soon

Buelly - kinda a freebie. my one supplier had some of the vinyl in stock. i just made up the file, sent them the artwork and they cut the vinyl and applied it - all within one day.

another XB12ss/Uly cross. This is an 07 with a Uly tail section and bars, we added the Spit Fire windshield recently and it works GREAT. cuts all the wind to the torso and NO head bobbling! Have throw over saddlebags and a tankbag for touring. This is the wifes ride. Mine's the 07 1200 Roadster Sporty.

They look to be the treadmarks tail tidy. I am not sure if this is the one or not, but this is the one that I am hoping to find the time and money to get made. There are a few other tail tidys out there, some google searches of badweb and advrider.com will produce them if you are diligent. This one is a 2-peice, there is a 1-peice somewhere on the interwebs that looks simpler...

Honestly i have no idea. I think it will. I remember reading that you could just print it full size and use it as a template, but again some google searching will reveal some more information on this tail tidy. I have had this sitting on my hard drive for a while, just waiting on the time/money to get it fabricated.

I did print it, taped it to piece of sheet metal, drilled thru paper, bended sheet metal... -only i chanced place of lock as it's with cable. Has worked fine.

This is my 2009/2010 Uly Police Special Duty with full Micron Serpent Exhaust. I've taken off the cases, siren, and put several carbon bits on her (rear hugger, lower guard, RSS and LSS). Also has ash grey airbox cover showing ASB open airbox kit (keeping SPECIAL DUTY airbox cover inside for safe keeping). I plan to HiPer Coat the headers this month to keep them polished looking and match the muffler. It runs/sounds amazing with XOPTI custom Micron Serpent maps! Just have to cut my RSS to fit and take photos on a nicer day! This is the only XP in New Zealand. Hope the pic loading worked [confused]

canholder is mounted to LSL-crash bars and to low front engine mount. so it's supported from 3 points. extra bars and rods are to eliminate vibration and for strenght... hope this pic clears it out

This was a week ago in the Pisgah National Forest in NC. The local ADV group down here in Charlotte are great people to ride with.

I'm currently searching for a second set of wheels so I can set them up with TKC80's for the trails.

You have to upload it to your photos first - at the top, click on "My pics" and it will give you the page for uploading photos to your profile. Then, in the thread, when you click "Add Your Photo" it will show the photos you have added to your album.

Finally got the TKC80's mounted. They ride like a tank tread on asphalt, but are awesome in the mud. I have Scorpion Trails on my other rims, so I'll only be using the TKC's when I plan to head off road.

XB12XP...... Not exactly a modified bike.... bought it brand new in 2010.... however....Police kit was removed... Now... 4 years later... complete kit reinstalled.... hereby some photos before and after.....

New here, thought i'd post some pics.
Its a 2006 Uly with grip heaters, extended handguards and other add-ons installed later. Use it for recreation and commuting. The camo is a wrap, not quite matching the original just yet, but will improve on a later date.
