Out here in CA, we have a "highway" that goes into the middle of nowhere. HW25. It has several 3 mile long stretches of wide open road. I've held my xb12r right under redline for over a minute. Scary!

Yeah, that would be scary. Hitting a deer at that speed. Imagine how far you would fly!

I love topping out my 9t speedo says 138 with the revs bouncing. It's so much fun to just hold it wide open as long as possible.

I have topped my 12R out more times than I can count, on a closed course of course :p. Held it WFO for more than a few minutes.

Smoothest 140 +/- I have ever felt on a bike. Never a wobble, headshake, or scary moment for me.

Someone needs to hit the books a lil harder.......Unless you know of a secret bike that someone has been hiding from us.

Ive had my 12R up to 140ish with my lard ass flapping in the breeze.......it was a down hill slope for about 2 miles.:D I dont plan on hitting that speed again.........well not with out a STRONG tail wind pushing me.

hitting a deer is better at 140 than 70 you tend to slice right through them.:D

didn't see any dicing but sure saw alot of crap come off his bike. close to the same thing happened when a wild turkey decide to run up under my old gixer the bottom fairing, front fender and radiator cover exploded with a ball of feathers.

on a side note its kinda funny. i tell people all the time that i don't know how fast my buell is and maybe once i got it over 100mph but on my old gixxer shot 140-150 that was just any other day like, tuesday.
