It's time to sell my Firebolt. I love the bike but I'm getting older and find that I just don't ride the bike in a manner that justifies paying sportbike insurance or a full sportbike seating position.

The particulars are:

5200 miles
100% stock except for grips, tank protector and valve stem caps.
Plenty of life left in the stock Pirellis
All service performed by the Buell dealer including update.
Switched to full synthetic oil and has only run Shell V-Power gas
One adult owner and clear title.
Asking $6599

Thanks for looking!

John Robinson, Indianapolis, IN

Possible trades considered would include VFR800, Aprilia Tuono, GSX1250....you get the idea. Short delivery or meet-up possible. We'll work that out when we get there.

No kidding? I lived in Evansville/Owensboro from 1993-2003. Had a house on the Westside of town.

Honestly, I just don't ride that quickly anymore. I find myself wishing for a less compromising ride that I can do distance on and that my wife will feel more comfortable with. I've realized that my needs would be better suited with a sport touring bike like I listed in the ad. The bike itself is magnificent. I just don't utilize it in the way it was designed.
