So iv been looking for a new helmet, I love my Icon Alliance but its time to upgrade. Started looking more for the "Fighter Pilot" theme looking at the Roof Boxer Classic. Also the Simpson Outlaw that LeFox has. Then I discovered the Osbe Tornado, and am offically "sold". That has to be the coolest helmet iv ever seen, with ALOT of great practicality. I love the patented double visor! The only thing that discourages me at all is that its a 3/4 helmet. I really feel more secure with a full face helmet, but for that styling and the price is right so...

Check it out guys tell me what you think!

Thaloc, that is a pretty sweet helmet, but I am partial to this one instead. I like the interchangable face shields for summer and winter driving, check it out.

Wow that one is awesome looking too! But it still holds to the "normal" full face helmet design except the interchangable chin. Think im picking up the Matte Black Osbe Tornado w/Leather face gaurd and find an old airforce jacket on Ebay or something.

Very true, once you get that jacket the only thing left to do is airbrush your bike to make it look like a fighter jet!

I think that helmet is sick...but my experience with drop down visors... the helmets tend to be very loud. There is a lot of air noise with that helmet.

thaloc, watch out with that helmet, cause it will rip off you head at +65mph.
the roof helmets are crap...never buy those!

this would be a fullface helmet with airforce theme and afterburner effect...
also a good thing, is that akuma (http://www.akumahelmets.com/home.html) has the patented sunshift visors.

Really? Is it a wind issue or chin strap? You think the Pilot Mask would help at all?

Also whats the word on them, do they hold up well and protect in wreck?
Thanks for all ur guys help, and input!

well, the wind is able to get under the visors, pushing to helmet up and strangle you with help of the chinstrap.
that's actually almost with every half helmet/ jet helmet.
great for round town when it's warm, but higher speeds is not a pleasant thing with these helmets.

protect? the top of your head, but you jaw, chin, nose, teeth are wide open.

Hey LeFox, do you know anything about Givi? Do they make a good quality helmet? I found them on designerhelmets.com and was curious. Thanks.

givi is a brand that sells good here in euro-land...so i'm guessing it's good enough for alot of people.
