Anybody Looking at a Firebolt for under 3k? (MN)

I have been contacting a CL seller this morning about his XB9R, in White and Orange. "Low mileage, clean title, ect."

He has been texting me and said that 2800 would take it in cash if it was bought today. My guess is you could get him even lower. He is asking 3500, and in 10 minutes I have him down to 2800. I don't think I have the money, but it would be a great bike for someone looking for a cheap start or a second firebolt. here is the link.

Well, first off the XB series didn't start until 03, so he doesn't know his bike. Possibly a typo, but when you post something for sale, you want to look as professional as possible. Second, doesn't mention miles, but could probably be cleared up with a phone call. Also, the deal where he wants to sell it today, makes me wonder-- why? Seems like a good deal all that aside. Somebody go and look at it!

I asked the same thing. On wikipedia is said the XB started in '02 (not the most reliable source, but it shocked just the same.) he said he is looking at the title tonight.

He lost his job, according to the CL add. He told me that its his GF's bike, and he has a few CBR's and the Buell is the first to go.

I WANT a bike. At this point I just don't think I can afford it. You never know, i might take a look at it and make a terrible but awesome decision to buy it.

If not, someone here should. Its a sick deal!

Yes, they did build firebolts in '02. The lightings didn't start till '03. Check out nada, kelly blue book.
