rode home in the rain today and my bike kept cutting down to one cylinder!! when it came back on it was even more un nerving. seemed to do it any time i let it get below 2000rpm. I checked and there is no water in my airbox and the spark plugs are fine, where else could water get in and cause this? any ideas or comments would be appreciated. thanks- HELP HELP

You're sure that you're not getting any water up into your spark plug wires? that used to happen on my sporty all the time before I replaced the wires. Sounds like a lawnmower running on one cylinder, doesn't it? :)

mabey it's time for plug's they may look fine but may still be weak misfire under less than ideal condition's. what a good excuse for an upgrade for those expesive iridium plug's. closely inspect plug wire's.

check the ground at the bottom of the engine.

clean it and spray some silicone grease on it so no water can touch it. ;)

where is the ground at? I think I might also just replace the plugs to be safe

near front sprocket

while you are doing that, get the one under your seat too.

do not use regular silicone :p

best way to protect your connections from water. ;)
