Sorry guys... one more newbie question. Does anyone have a good method/mounting location for an E-Z pass transponder? I'm riding a new XB9SX.

Thanks in advance! [confused]

Not where it won't look ugly...or be stolen. Why dont you carry it in your pocket..it should still work...aren't they battery powered if I remember right?

What about under the seat or flyscreen? Or do they need to be line of sight?

Has anyone tried it in a pocket? My gut is telling me that won't work. E-Z pass's instructions are pretty clear about direct line of sight, etc.

I thought about a temp set up on the cross on top of my airbox cover.

I'm going to try under the fly screen with velcro. I don't know if the angle will allow the transponder to work.

I guess I'll find out when the lights and camera go off, or not...

I googled it and found this thread.

Thanks 2Evil!

Lots of good ideas from that link. I'm going to try a few options and test conductivity. Once I'm done, I'll post some photos of my solution. I just requested a new MC transponder from E-Z pass. Should be a week or so before I'm all done.
