09 1125Cr w/4500 miles $6200 obo

Hey guys,

Up for sale is my 09 Buell 1125Cr. She has almost 4500 miles on her right now. I may or may not exceed that depending on weather conditions. I had it custom painted Speedway Blue by Maaca 4 months ago and I just recently put the clear LED taillight on it to match the LED blinkers and also put a Keda-RT2 exhaust on it along with a race ECM to match. Also had the stator rewound by Custom Rewind around 1200 miles ago and also installed an upgraded Mosfet voltage regulator on it around 1600 miles ago. The harness was also upgraded by the previous owner who also had the dealership install a fender eliminator kit; I am the second owner. Love the bike and it runs like a beast. I'm selling because I'm ignorant and really want a ZX10r to kill myself on.

Btw, it has never been layed over EXCEPT for on my driveway. 3 days after I put the newly painted plastic back on, I was in a hurry to leave for class, I was backing out of my steep driveway and attempting to put my helmet on at the same time. The bike bobbled and fell on me on the left side. Slight little nick on the left pod from it. I couldn't believe I did that. I will post more pics when I get the time.

Also, the passenger seat/cover aren't shown above. I had it off so I could unhok the battery while intalling the new race ECM :) the exhaust also has a brand new silver wrap on it.

I appreciate the interest! I'm willing to negotiate a little on price, just for future reference ;) No one has even given me any offers yet and I feel the price is fair. If someone were to offer me $6k or maybe even $5800, I'd probably take it. That's more than what I would get from a dealer.

I ride with a guy who has a zx10 he loves the bike and loves the power but is going down to a 600 cause he wants to challenge himself. Something to think about.

Market is real tough right now, I had an 08 1125R with only 1700 miles that I couldn't sell for 4 months. Started at $6500 finally had to drop it to $4800 to get rid of it.

Dusty: I've certainly considered a 6, buttt my ignorance got the best of me and the power and performance of the 10 won out. Foolish? Most likely. I paid $470 if I remember right for the paint.

Alfa: Yeah, tell me about it. Tough market, especially for a bike who's company is no longer in service. That's why I put obo, but no one wants to shoot me an offer. The dealer ship offered me $4800 surprisingly, but I'd like to see if I can sell it outright because I know they're going to give me $4800 for it and then swindle some guy into buying it for $7500. Not that it isn't worth that! Just not in this market.

Man, you just bought that muffler. I just sold mine for $6,500, but it was a 09 W/4800 miles on the chassis and a brand spanking new 2010 motor.

Yeah, I know bro :/ nothing I'm proud of and I'm sure it's a mistake. Love the muffler btw! That's how these bikes were meant to sound.
