I'd like to see pics and reviews of madstad setups on Ulysses.

Put mine on over a year ago. LOVE IT.... With the Madstad you can use one shield and turn it into hundreds. In the summer I leave it low and tilt it so I get plenty of wind, rain comes, I instantly raise it up for extra protection. To me its a must and Im looking to get one for my KLR650.

Cheers,
Adam

Ferris. Interesting you have both bikes. I always wondered if a KLR was too much like my Uly to make a good garage companion. I've heard they're surprisingly comfortable on the road.

Check out the other bike in my garage in the madstad picture post. It's hard to beat the XT225 for a fun bike.

LOL, I was first looking for the KLR but the Uly just fell in my lap. Wanted to do some enduro riding but like the Uly too much to even think of it. Then the KLR dropped in my lap. Both are paid off so why not. When I go two up with Jessi (mt GF) we use my 91 Tour Glide. Have a bike for all riding.
The KLR is my daily rider. Saves on gas and it is a pretty good ride. On roads going over 50, its not the best but is manageable.

Cheers,
Adam

I have the Madstad on my XT (sorry no current pics - will provide later if needed). It is a *miraculous* change. I had a hard time taking my bike past 45... someone had put an aftermarket screen on it that made it literally a nightmare at that speed or faster. The Madstad saved it.

I like the screen Madstad sells. Thick plactic and holds up well. Been over two years.
