Thanks, I'm in the middle of painting a sailfish for a guy right now. Not a painting of a sailfish, but an actual vintage taxidermy sailfish. Of course the kicker is the guy says do whatever you want but I don't want it painted like a fish anymore. Says it's going by the pool house so do something cool. Lets say i had these on my bike and i get tired of looking like every one else who has them, and i want to take them off, will they come off clean?? Or will they make a mess??

Super easy to take off, park in the sun on a super hot day or grab a hair dryer and warm them up a bit and they should peel right off. Any adhesive residue can be removed with a mild degreaser of Goof Off or that type of thing, but if your careful there shouldn't be anything left. Email me if you guys want a set. mattreich4@aol.com

What a great thread! So many beautiful pics of bikes on here. You do great work, matter! Wiznut sent me this way as I asked him where he got his pegasus logos for his tank. Your logos fit perfectly on these bikes; goes with the flow and style of the bike very well. I could use some help, here in a couple weeks I too would like to sport the tank pegasus on my Cr, but I'm not sure what color I should go with. I'd rather not do black on black. I was thinking maybe grey, silver, or blue. Anyone have any recommendations? :)

The difficult thing about going with blue is that if it doesn't match the color real close it might look funny. You might think about a medium metallic charcoal/gray. That would be safe and compliment the pipes on the right side and not be too flashy. Email me if interested.

Here are the pics you requested. I love them and can't wait to show them off when ridding season starts.

You can't seem them to clearly in the pics but that just cuz my camera isn't so good. But they came out exactly the way I wanted them to. Close up barly able to see them but when you walk away from the bike they look like ghost deckles with the reflection as you can see in one of the pics.

Got mine put on finally, after having them for a few weeks or more now. My forum decal had half the backing off it and was stuck to the box when I got it. So, it was messed up. Should have the replacement from Matt in a couple days. Great, easy guy to work with btw!

I don't know if the newer models have a darker frame (mine is '09 XB12R) or something but these REALLY blend into the frame a lot. It's hard to see them sometimes at certain angles. I like it though. I wanted them to be discreet.

These weren't too bad to apply. Under the tailpiece where it rolls over the top of the frame was a little tricky. I actually did one yesterday and and ran out of time so when I did the primary side today. I took the airbox and tailpiece off to give me a more open workspace. Don't really know if it helped because the second side goes a lot easier all together once you have an idea what youre doing (this was my first time applying any kind of vinyl). I did end up messing up the eye on the one I did today. I was going to fast with the squeegee and caught a part that had lifted up. Just put a little crease in it, but can't really notice unless you're looking for it.

akela is a cheater j/k for wanting my style. I thought the one solid piece wuldnt look rite but it does after i got in on. It took a bit to get them on perfect since its one giant piece verses the other style. So take yur time LOTS OF SOAPY WATER. Get some pics up when u get them babies installed.

I ordered these from matt a few months back. They were cheap and a good price, but I was disappointed by a few things. 1st, the graphic edges were kind of wavy, it kind of looked like the vinyl was cut very quickly. Also, the adhesive on one of the ears of the pegasus was all muffed up. 2nd, I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to following directions, and granted I have never put a vinyl graphic on anything before, and mine turned out horrible. My suggestion would be to research the application process before beginning. It looks like a lot of other people have had great success, but mine turned out with lots of bubbles. just beware

The vinyl I got from Matt was well priced and inexpensive compared to the vinyl shop that did my detailing for my old trailer. Quality wise it was easy to work with and turned out nice. I put my stuff on in -20 degree weather in my sort of heated garage and it went well. Whats the story on the ones on Feebay??? Id like to support a list member rather than some schmoe who ripped off your idea. I was interested in some decals/transfers for several projects and need to get to ordering stuff for some. I see on eBay theres several people selling these transfers now. Lots of colors but they look a LOT like yours. Did someone come on here and swipe the designs? I THOUGHT you were up in eastern Washington and i see other locations for these other sellers. I have had unique products ripped off from me and sold on eBay and other places and it chaps my ass to see it happen. Id like to call out those who do that **** if thats the case. Sorry, haven't been here in a while. Still doing decals, but seems like lately I get emails wanting decals, so I spend the time back and forth with someone deciding what they want and I never hear back. After about 6 in a row it gets a little old.
Also, many of my designs have been directly copied and sold on ebay. That sucks after the countless hours I spent manipulating the designs for a perfect looking fit. It also pains me to think i sold someone these to copy from as it would be impossible to copy from a picture. have complained to the seller and ebay but no joy.
I only started doing these as a fun project to accommodate other riders who wanted decals like mine, as at that time NO ONE had any frame decals. PERIOD! I came up with the idea totally on a whim looking for something to make my Buell unique and it took off from there. I have sold these here and in many different countries over the years and had a great time doing it. Thanks to all who bought from me!
Anyway, that's my decal rant. Thanks for listening.

need a couple of decals, maybe 1/4" font, your choice of font style: "Fuel In Frame" and "Add Oil Here" with an arrow pointing towards the dipstick, all in black. let me know, thanks

Hey man! Just thought of you the other day. I finally used that decal you made for my house! :D Even after all that time, it worked great! That says a lot for the materials you use. [up]

You still making these? It's pretty much winter here now in MN but I'd like to get one in the spring sometime and I'd rather support you than some rip off. So in no hurry, plan on chopping my tail this winter and using a led strip. Can't wait for warm weather again... :|
