Did you cut the white wire?

I wish they'd come out with an 08/09 XB12 version soon.

my instructions didnt have me cut any wire. the only thing i modified on the wiring harness was a t tap on the throttle position sensor. is this the white wire your talking about?
nevermind thanks for the link i see it ill post the results.

My bad, I was under the impression you had an xb. I didnt know you had an 1125r. I just found this thread under the latest post section not the 1125r section.

Try contacting Lefox. He may know a remedy for your problem.

No, you don't need to cut any wire in the XB's either. My guess is that you bought it from trojan(?), so you'd better ask matt (trojan) to help you. Did you just buy the powerizer, using no new muffler or exhaust system?
You do have the 08 model don't you? If so, did you have the latest maps upgrade? I know they've been releasing atleast one upgrade for the 08. The 09's will have a new mapping + a re-route of the O2 sensor.
Hope it'll work out for you!

yea i just got an email back from matt. he says it may take 40 miles to adjust. im not sure. i can understand it may take time to adjust but to loose so much . if i was to make a serious guess of how much power it lost and not think im BS'n you guys id say 30 to 35 hp.

well 25 mi and a little improvement. still lost mid range torque. cant tell if it pulls harder on top .it feels more like a 4cyl bike. i hope my torque comes back.
on another note when i unhooked the negative battery cable to hook up one of the ground wires. it reset everything on my gauges. including my odometer reading. any one wana buy a 1125r with super low miles. ha ha!!!!! :D any one heard of this happening

Well, interesting... if this unit doesn't work at your machine. Do you have the possibility to return it? I still don't get it... why did you buy the unit for if you haven't done any upgrades? There are rolling updates to bikes at times. If you bought it new it should be for free. New maps etc etc have been released during 2008. Have you checked if this bike is up to date with these (and also the recall campain upgrade)? Regarding remapping. I wonder if the 1125 ECU/ECM also run in cloosed loop mode from 0-3000rpm (XB range)? As i understand that is the most difficult area to remapp if the closed loop function can't be "deactivated".
Maybe the closed loop function's implemented at 1125 ECU's also(?), at a more extended rev range than the XB series got?

no, i have an exhaust . and the bike was a little tempermental "lean". i was hoping the remus powerizer would remedy the prob. I rode 60 mi last night and still no improvement, but today it was a diffrent bike. my torque returns, hard to say if there was a gain in hp . but it runs a lot smoother. which was what i wanted. it was an improvement. maybe not in performance as much as less bog and smoothed out that annoying fluttery spot (about 4000 rpm). so remus i take it back! GOOD PRODUCT! but to all you 1125r owners look out for that first 50 mi. most depressing ride you will go on. :)

just an update 1000 mi later i still dont notice a gain in power. it runs smoother but i think it was faster when it was lean.

I had the same problem with my XB, it seems like it keeps "losing" the learn-in. Doesent matter how many miles I ride or what RPM I keep the bike at, I come back the next day and POOF!!! Back to runnin crappy. BUT...if I go jump on the e-way for 20 min or so at a constant speed maybe 75-80ish, it runs like a beast when I come off the expressway, everytime.

I wish they'd come out with an 08/09 XB12 version soon. Now there's a Remus Powerizer for the 2008 XB models. ;)

It worked great on my 25r, I was REALLY lean w/ the d&d pipe (afv's 115.5f/100r) & within 150 miles after installation I'm @ 110f/105r & my bike runs & sounds much better.

I installed today Powerizer to my XB-12S -07. Installing was simple and easy, only hard part was the hiding of the microprosessor under the seat :D I did put also new K&N filter same time as the remus.

Great product! [up] Now im running with setup Race Kit exhaust, K&N, white wire disconnected and powerizer. All the minor popping was gone and the bike runs soooo smooth! Next mod i'll do is the breather reroute. I'll post up some document when my friend has time to dyno my bike with powerizer.

wow you just put it on without checking the numbers? You've got balls.

If it was me, I wouldn't put it on until I could actually check the a/f

Fitted powerizer recently on my XB12R - 07 after doing the breather mod/ K&N and airbox mod/venting. Already had a Remus Exhaust fitted.
Still on the learning cycle but alot less pops and bangs, way smoother on acceleration etc.
Haven't done the white wire mod, didn't mention it in instructions from trojan, what's the benefit?

Someone here who's got a Powerizer on a Euro XB 2008? If yes, what are youre experiences with the Powerizer?

well im back, i dont have the bike anymore but i was never happy with how it worked. it lost bottom end and never came back. it was so bad i couldn't get the wheel up. I weigh 150 lbs and i am no beginner to stunting. i had to try my tail off to get it up and because it wouldnt come up quick, it went into a tire wobble and sent me on a helicopter ride. dont waste your money! poor product. use that money to buy a steering dampener. i was a believer that if the bike was built right it didnt need one. thats BS!!!!! its not for handeling, but safety. join the rest of the sport bike world Eric. 1125r needs a steering dampener

1096,
sorry about your injuries and that you dont have the bike any more but did you rescue the powerizer or any other add ons before insurance took it off of your hands? If so are you willing to part w/ any/all?

I put a Remus powerizer on my 09 XB12Ss and lost 15BHP and 10 pounds foot of torque, sent Matt a dyno reading demostrating the power loss, unfortunateky the dyno was playing up and did give any AFV readings....getting those soon, doing another back to back run, have since done the open airbox mod, I'm running a drummer with a set of equal length headers on an )( with the stock ECU (hence the powerizer) not impressed with this product, once the AFV readings are done I'll be sending it back.....[confused][down]

I run the osb now and am very happy.

I got a 2009 Buell with a Stealth Exhaust - Powercross filter and Remus Powerizer. Ive just fitted the Powerizer and the revs are all over the place, bike runs lumpy, pops and bangs etc. Havent ridden it yet but surley its not meant to be like this? I was told it was out of the box product and should adjust and be fine. Mine Isnt - Before I go for a remap what would you suggest?

Before I go for a remap what would you suggest?

Take it off before it does damage. Seems like no one has had positive feedback from the product.

the powerizer is a waste of time, if its an xb get ecmspy, an 1125 get another ecu
