front LED billet aluminum blinkers....interest???

i had a friend make me a set of front blinkers for my firebolt and i think they turned out awesome.

another member on the board suggested i see if there was any interest among the rest of us on the site.

i talked with my machinist last night and he would be willing to make more if there is enough interest to make it worth his while.

they would be sold as a complete kit with blinkers and hardware and available in 4032 raw aluminum and satin black powder coat only.

not sure on a price yet as we just started talking about this today and wanted to see if anyone would even be interested before we started investing in materials. they will be top quality and if there is enough interest, we'll start investing in materials and have a better idea on price.

considering the rod to make these with is over $50 a foot i'm thinking a ballpark of $50 USD shipped complete and powdercoated for the pair? but, that's just off the top of my head and we will keep them as inexpensive as we can.

we don't plan on making 100's of these but can if need be.

they are amber LED's with crystal clear lenses. they are DOT and VERY bright. they have three LED's per bulb. no problem seeing these day or night!
they will be made of 4032 aluminum
the threads are 3/8-16 so you will have to open the stock mounting hole just a hair to 3/8" and as you can see the black satin powdercoat goes well with bike.

i'm sure you could also use these as rears but i have not tried to install them back there so i'm not going to say the will work in the rear. but, i don't see why they wouldn't work. [confused]

Those are bad ass! I need to look at the clearance for a lightning, as they seem perfect for the bolt fairing.

for a few extra bucks i could throw in two more LED's for the rear for a complete set too!
all you would have to do is the blinker mod.

EDIT: I wish the output was a bit brighter. In the video, with the further distance, you couldn't even tell they were there anymore. Might be a bit of a hazard (IMO of course). I like my blinkers bright!

Well, like I said in the video, they are brighter than they seem in the video.

I'm happy with them and feel completely safe with them on my bike. Just thought I'd offer a few sets to anyone interested as I have an opportunity to have them made.
