I was just curious if anyone has scrapped the entire EFI system on our bikes, and went with a carb set-up?

Very limited application where this would be advised or advantageous - and virtually no practical benefit.

Ehhh I dunno.. My thoughts....
I have a bike (08 12S) with a mixed up, add on assortment or normal upgrades. I.E Termignoni w/cat muffler, Euro headers and an HD dealer tuned EBR dme. Runs like crap unless kept in the upper RPM's and WOT.

I know the bottom end tq/pwr could be better with spot on tuning, but plan to correct this power curve with tear down, cams, jugs/pistons and headwork matched for lower end power.

I think, jets and needle settings seem to be an easier means to get these motors running top notch. Plus, in my opinion, its more fun than adjusting injector pw and timing with a generated program..

If anyone out there has completed an EFI to carb swap on an XB, please send me a note, as I would like to look into things needed for this conversion.

Thanks much
