I would guess Jardine is cheaper if you are on a budget. I saw a pic I a Vance pipe and it looked decent. I have a jardine and I like it.

Jardine header is better than the V&H header. Looks don't mean anything. I can polish up and anodize a 2" pipe, doesn't mean it'll perform worth a crap.

Jardine is one of the best off-the-shelf headers for the Blast. Mated to a D&D can and you have about the best off-the-shelf exhaust possible. Next to that would be a Supertrapp can on the Jardine header.

However going custom, possibilities are endless. Cheap $100 welder, $50 in metal and I have a new exhaust. $50 for more metal and I have a 2nd exhaust. Etc, etc. Right now I'm running a Force clone, for about 1/5th the cost. Next is similar to XB9 dimensions for ... guess how much? $50.

One of my buddies wife's blast had V&H on it and it sounded pretty wimpy. Even worse than stock. With the Jardine and an air box delete the blast sounds surprisingly much better like its older bros.

J-Lee is spot on. Cans are about the same, Jardine header is better. They also sound quite similiar. IF you are looking for more growl then just take the baffle and packing out.

How does the jardine affect the already low ride height?

How does the jardine affect the already low ground clearance...

I ask because we have giant speedbumps here. stock barely clears. Dont want to put it in right away if its going to grind.

Dodge the speed bumps or go at them crooked.

Or make a side-pipe.

True
I always play deveil's advocate, even against myself.

So in your defense...generally a company that makes a great product, follow the great function with good form; not many people want to buy something that looks ugly.

Alright, finally ordered the jardine exhaust, anything I need to know about installation from anyone who has had one?

Fairly straight forward as per instructions, just make sure you get new exhaust crush gaskets for the installation.

Sounds good have them on order. Thanks for the headache up I hate walking into a project blind. Most manufactures don't tell you the little things.
