Before I go and spend $180+ dollars on custom levers, I'd like to hear some opinions on the pros & cons of Shorties vs. Regular length levers from people that already have them. Obviously I think the Shorties might be better simply because they would survive a drop because they are shorter than the Bar Ends....but again, I'd like to see some opinions. Especially whether Shorties are harder to pull back or no difference....etc. Fire Away fellas !!!

levers short or long will probably not survive a drop. (long have a break line so you can still ride on)

but i prefer short levers since i only use 2 fingers to manipulate the lever. this way my hand doesn't get pinched between lever & handlebar and i keep my control over the handlebar.

+ it just looks better :p

Shorties for sure. I debated also and am glad i went with the shorts. If you look at how you actually use the levers you will see the stock levers a re an inch longer than what you really need. I love the shorts and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I too use the 2 finger method on my levers so that's a great point.

Thanks for the inputs guys.
