Congrats 5-0dro! You should look into expanding your product lineup to include pegs. Specifically 2 inch drop pegs. If you could offer those for substatially less than knight ~$100 for example, then I'd be the first to purchase.
And I'd be willing to bet alot of others would purchase them too.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm certainly not going to knock (or knock off for that matter) Knight's foot pegs. They seem to be very nice products that are probably worth every bit of the ~$100 they charge. Machining can get rather expensive and there's a decent amount of machining there...I don't have much confidence that I'd be able to offer them for any less than that...Sorry. It may be something to look into in the future though? Thanks!

Knight sells the 2 inch drop pegs them for about $165 a pair. A little steep in my opinion. As far as I know there is no other company manufacturing the 2 inch drop pegs right now. No competition means no competitive pricing. I'm in the market for a pair but I'm not paying $165.

So instead of celebrating this anniversary at the local pub, I spent the night building sliders! I guess that's just how it goes! LOL :p

@RuiP: Not sure what to tell ya. Even if I decided to pursue these, they wouldn't be ready for this riding season. We do really appreciate your interest, but I just don't think we can help you in the near future. I'd be glad to discuss this with you further if you wish but let's take it off-line if so. Thanks.

Thanks dro, I think I'll just end up bringing my pegs to my welder/fabricator. I stopped by his shop and was amazed by the custom bikes he's built. This guy can do it all and most importantly has all the right tools to do it. [up]

That may be your best bet in the end. Guys like that are able to make quick, one-off solutions possible where we are more production oriented. Their business model is much different than ours...Not better or worse, just different. Good luck & make sure you post pics when you get them. [up]
