So one of the previous owners of my bike must have been a real fricken dumb**** cuz they did a chain conversion without putting in any sort of roller and unbeknownst to me the chain has been sawing right into the swingarm. It was difficult to tell before as the place where it rubs is behind the rearset. Anyway ordered new sprockets and will get a new chain. Does anyone know where to order a swingarm roller by itself? Not paying an extra 150 for the conversion kit just to get a roller. Bought one off dennis kirk that is a mx, may or may not work though. Otherwise I will continue cutting my swingarm off lol

What model is it? ASB has the full kit and some separate parts/assemblies:

ASB Chain Drive Kit (http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-prodshow/A16002.html)

then EBR sells the chain rub part alone:

EBR Chain Rub (http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/parts-accessories/chassis/xb-xbrr-chain-rub.html)

I hope that helps.

Thanks joe, it is a 97 buell thunderbolt. That ASB kit will be around 150 bucks more than buying parts separately. I cant tell how that EBR chain rub piece works, maybe just bolts right to swingarm? Will try that if my mx roller doesnt work.

Anytime. Doesn't ASB offer that "chain roller assy" #16044? I though that may be helpful to you...

Yeah. It's a pretty penny, but I'm sure you'd rather pay that over a whole swingarm
