aftermarket turn signals

i put some new rear signals on & they work/look nice, but they flash on & off at double speed. its like when your bike has a broken bulb, how they flash really fast. can i fix this?

I'm going to asume that they are LED signals. They flash at a higher rate because of their low current draw. You can replace the flasher with one from americansportbike.com that will slow the rate down. Personally I liked the faster rate, it seems more noticable to me.
