on my way home tonight, my low fuel light came on. stopped at the gas station and put 2.9 gallons in it. went in and paid. when i came back out there was a small spot of fuel under the left rider peg. I rode it a few blocks home and parked it in the garage and looked. every few seconds a drop of fuel drips off the bottom of the peg. I felt a line that runs down to this spot so i figured it was a pressure release for the fuel tank. I took the cap back off and it hissed like there was pressure in the tank, but it still drips very slowly. anybody have any ideas whats going on?

You more than likely overfilled your tank. Only fill it to the top of the first level in there. I bet once the excess runs out you'll see there is NO leak [up]

Just be sure to put less in next time and see if that doesn't fix your problem.

what lesley said and be sure the tiny vent in your stock cap is vented and working as well as vent line under airbox cover is routed correctly thru airbox tabs and not pinched. any of the above not correct and tank will hiss as you mentioned.
