Ground strap replacement

The ground strap under the airbox, above the rear cylinder, it's about 4" along and bolted down on to a "tie rod" link or something. Mine is frayed and I got a new one, can I just unbolt and replace or will will the engine move on me or something? JW because of that tie rod piece...

I replaced mine as well and it can be unbolted.
