:(

bpg... I need to get some parts to fix my '04 xb12r. Can you help me get part numbers and pricing on the following? :

1. brake lever
2. Right handle bar (just the tube)
3. Right front turn signal

I also busted the throttle control tube (the part that the grip slides over that goes into the throttle control assembly. Can this piece be purchased separately or am I going to have to replace the entire throttle control assembly?

Need a new pair of grips as well. Prefer factory but will go aftermarket if the factory ones are ridiculously expensive.

I can order the part locally at my HD dealer or through you if there's a benefit in it for you. I appreciate your help.

as far as the grips go... when you buy the buell traction grips, the throttle side comes on the tube that has the cable linkage connectors. So all you need is the grips, not the entire throttle control assembly

I'm ok (more over... had on a nice leather jacket that took a beating.. sleeve slid up on me exposing my forearm... biggest injury is a pretty bad "Charlie Horse" to my right shoulder (like someone punched me with brass knuckles)... Bike got some minor road rash on the headers (think i'll just wrap them since I wasn considering doing that anyways). I'll snap some shots of it/me tonight and post em.

N0002.02A8 - Handlebar - 22.30

Y0504.02A8 - RF Turn Signal - 14.40

You will have to buy an entire new grip for the right side. You cannot just buy the throttle tube inside.

N0050.K - Left grip (stock) - 6.15

BPG, reliable as always, you should have alot more of

those----> [up][up][up] <----those

than you do, at least as many as LeFox, you're always prompt with the part numbers to help guys out that are asking about a swap/new/replacement part.

bpg... you're awesome... is there a benefit to you if I order them through you? I want to make sure you get something for all the work you do for me... and all of us... let me know what's the best way to get this stuff.. If I do order through you, I also need to get a set of frame pucks...
I'm assuming the going rate of ~$49 is pretty much standard on those wherever I get them?

As far as for the parts, I am kind of at a loss for selling them unless you are local or in the general area of AZ due to shipping. I don't have a large amount of outgoing shipping so I don't get as good of deals as the Parts shop on here would. The Parts Shop (http://www.buellparts.net/) would be able to get you the frame pucks and your local dealer can get you the hard parts I gave you the numbers for.

will do... I really appreciate the help..

meanwhile, I think the rest of us need to come up with some way of doing something for BPG. I can't believe how helpful you are to all of us and to do so with such little reward makes you a truly great person. If there's ever anything a sales rep for a major (four lettered ) computer company can do for you, just let me know. At the very least I owe ya a few cold ones.... what's your poison of choice?

oh.. and as promised... here are the pics of the damage the bike took and what my right forearm looks like... all in all I think I got pretty lucky.. I was going through a parking lot when some idiot in a fourwheeler backed out right in front of me. It was a relatively slow speed fall, but I think the small amount of damage overall and the amazing fact that I didn't even scratch my fairing, is a great testament as to how well designed and built these XB's are... http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/2168_20081014165414_L.jpg
