Noticed a roaring noise today, stays constant at speed, not affected by rpm, bike feels the same just worried its a trans bearing or something like that. I got a new helmet so maybe I just have not heard it before bcmof old helmet.

i'm betting nothing more than helmet change. check your primary chain adjustment and correct 20-50 fluid in primary. it holds one quart. in all honesty i have 3 buells and if i wear no helmet and take a spin on any of them, the noise level seems alarmingly high. i attribute it to the nature of the beast.

I hear the same thing... and it is concerning...but the way people talk on here makes me not worry as much. It also varies depending on your oil level from a slightly wet roar to a dryish roar. I pay waaaaaay to much attention to the sounds the batmobuell makes :D
