So last weekend I got my most recent order from ASB among some other suppliers as well as some custom work and decided to post some pics.
Here's the list of everything I can remember:
-Billet round (shorty) track legal footpegs
-Billet footpeg hanger with 1" drop
-One off replica carbon fiber heel guard
-Breather hose re-route
-Carbon fiber airbox cover W/ ram air induction scoops
-Airbox delete
-Black billet LED turn indicators (front and rear)
-Carbon fiber frame pucks
-Black bar-end sliders (for track use so I don't damage my Throtlemeister set)
-Carbon fiber one piece chin fairing
thats about everything I can remember, I'm sure Lefox or BPG will remind me if I've left anything out. Enjoy!

If i were you, i should see to it to fix some mesh grilles at the insides of the tank dummy (covering the holes). Road debris etc can get in there. Get rid of the ugly belt covers. I have done great without mine and there are no problem.

i have the same LSL pegs in black (minus the drop bracket), absolutely LOVE them. super-grippy with the deep knurling all the way to the edge. most secure feeling pegs ive ever had on the XB.

Looks awesome man.

This might be a silly question, but what do the bar-end weights do?

but what do the bar-end weights do?
They help with vibrations than can cause numbness in your hands. Numb Fingers thread (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/General-Motorcycle-Chat/Numb-fingers)

I think the PC name for the Tail Mod is the "Chuck Norris Experiance".

What do you mean by? Are they plastic or stockers that has been CF dipped, thus the "replica"?

One off replica carbon fiber heel guard

For a one of set they look damn close to the ones my GF has.

It was done by a company in socal about a year ago.I provided them with a spare set of stock heel guards I had lying around the shop and they created a form from that. The way carbon fiber is created is a fabric (or 'fiber') is laid into a mold/form and cured (similar to fiberglass) allowing for the piece to be as light a plastic but as strong as steel. not "dipped" This was the first of many, this one was a proto, since then multiple producers can provide you with this piece now

Yeah cause the heel guards are a stock replacment part you can order at the dealer not just aftermarket companies.

Sick bike! A cf tail piece and a right side scoop from LeFox would be nice...

Buell does make a CF heel guard set but I really didn't like the solid piece, the set you've got on your girl's bike is my preference as it's got the stock look with the holes.

looking good
liking the blacked out signals
are they pretty dim or just slightly lighter then before?

LVsleeper
09-01-2009, 11:06 PM
the signals are a bit darker but not really, the brightness of the tail hasn't changed.

So many things are nice on this bike I'm in the process of getting the LED turn signals.

Nice heel guards and pucks

Kudos!

1001, it's a factory race can that's been taken care of no polishing here, just a quick wipe down when she gets a bath. The best combination of power vs. sound in my opinion.
Thanks Ram!

Speaking of witch, my labor day project will consist of the addition of a tasteful underbody LED lighting kit. Get this baby looking like she's breathing fire.

LVsleeper

OK the LEDs are installed, I was going for some tasteful highlighting not really interested in the kits that "breathe" or flash or change color, not exactly looking to give the bobbies any more reason to (attempt to) pull me over :D. The install was simple enough and consisted of 4 LED bars with 5 diodes each attached to a 36 inch lead. tapped into the running light circuit so there was no need to wire in a switch. lights are activated when ignition is placed into the ON or the PARK position. I have yet to do any testing as to run time before battery drainage issues I.E. no start. enjoy!!! I do
