Anyone know where I can find a Red Ilmberger billet gas cap? Diesel Moto apparently stopped stocking these, and EBR does not carry the red version.

TIA!!

The ones EBR sell are made by them I believe [up]

Yes they do. I have one but my bike isnt venting. EBR says its not the cap so i have to check something else. I dont like my bike shooting fuel out when i have my cap closed.

Loki, thanks--your bike was the one I was looking at when I decided I "needed" the red Ilmberger... Hope you find the cause for your issue.

Very lame repsonse from EBR IMO

its the fuel vent line.these caps are not designed to vent.

Yeah, this is what they said "The stock cap does not vent either. The tank vent is a separate item off to the right of the gas filler area under the airbox cosmetic cover. So you have something wrong with that vent or the hose from it."

Then i asked some more questions but they are to busy racing to deal with their petty Buell owners...

Then i asked some more questions but they are to busy racing to deal with their petty Buell owners... That is eff'd up. I do appreciate your honesty about the cap though as I really was considering getting one.

I had heard the filler tube was smaller and most hated that. Now I hear you have to re-vent your fuel line for it to work correctly? And on top of that EBR has crappy customer support...

Hang in there Loki maybe you'll get some resolve.

. Now I hear you have to re-vent your fuel line for it to work correctly? you dont need to revent anything put it on and go.the venting system has nothing to do with the stock or aftermarket fuel cap.

put it on and go
That's what I'm talking about.

Now if they knock off $100.00 I'll buy one.
