cam sensor is behind the cover. you can see it through the aftermarket plastic one in this pic. and the xb does not have a crank sensor(except the xbrr), id be surprised if the blast did.

Possible American SportBike.com and God yes maybe even the Dealer. Sorry there have to say it cause they just might be able to get it. I have in the past found Aftermarket parts for the Buells at Crane Speed parts and Some other Speed shops you will need to check around for that KEEP a list, but also Try Buellister parts as well.Save your Old parts so you can use it to find a Aftermarket Supplier if needed cause most times the Serious Speed Shops CAN and will show you how to convert or just put a different Manufactured part on the Bike That works just as good!. Good Luck.*Jimi

please show me where the crank sensor on my bike is. the 08+ have a crank sensor but the older xb does not have a crank position sensor. they have a cam position sensor of which i found a picture of.

like the OP is concerned with the new changes to the 08 xb when he was asking about the blast.

so why post anything about xb and give someone the impression none of them have crank sensors.just saying because some do not just the xbrr.

um maybe because the blast engine and xb engine have obvious similarities. just admit you dont know the difference between a crank and cam sensor.

instead of a condescending response like "lol yes an xb does" why not post something useful like the 08+ xb's do. you implied that all xb's do have crank sensors which is equally as wrong as my first post.

actually I was referring to the crank timing line mark, used the wrong wording, and the 2008-2010 xbs are the only xbs worth owning in any case - lol
