View Full Version : My fender eliminator

Finally decided to do this since the season is all but over here.

Sawzalled the bulk of the metal off and then went to work with a small 4 1/2" grinder with 36grit and then 120. It needs to be finish belnded and painted.

I used the factory plate bracket.

It really isn't very hard. Just time consuming. If you do it yourself you basiclt end up with the Rizoma piece. Which after shipping to the states is 294$.

I just brought it tonihgt to get the plate bracket tig welded on to the tailpiece.

If any one has paint info please let me know. I want it to match the frame which is silver

I am going to use the tail light for plate ilumination. AS you can see I made a cutout in the housing for that.

I painted it today. It will be on the bike tommorrow. I will post pics.

Looks great, what are you doing with the blinkers? Drilling for smaller ones?
