Recently on a long trip, one stud gave way under HARD acceleration...and then the others bolt followed suite and fell off..

All in all i need to know what size of Studs/Bolts to buy ?..

Also the circular piece at the end of the exhaust which looks like a secondary piece chewed itself up whilst banging against the head (i had 11 hours on my journey left)....is that a PART i can buy or do i have to buy a whole new exhaust ?

Thanks much guys... ive read thousands of posts it feels like and no info to be found.

Pictures, I can't be certain what you are talking about.

Are you talking about the two sided exhaust studs going into the head?

What part is broken on the exhaust, part of the header?

Replace the Flange if in bad shape.Replace the header Gaskets. Replace the Studs, All of the front ones. That way you won't have to worry about it later. Check the rear Studs out also. They are hard to do but if you can spare the change And the Time then Rotate the engine down and check out the Harness while you are up in there so if you need to rewrap it now would be a good time to do so.I relize that will take time but way LESS headaches in your future when the Heat starts wearing on the Wiring it will be Protected from Shorts. Good Luck*Jimi
