Trying to get more top end speed so I have two questions. 1: will a XB front pulley fit the blast and is it larger? 2: would I use an xb or other belt with a tensioner? [confused]

If you want more top end speed the only solution is to either install an XB head on the jug, or go big bore and get headwork done. Once the proper headwork is done then you will need to buy an aftermarket programmable ignition and set the limiter appropriately.

Mine has an 8k limit and I hit 90's in 4th. I am not a speed demon, so I haven't pushed it beyond 100, but a 515 with stage 2 headwork, carb jetting, and exhaust should be able to hit the 120's and how much more would you need? As is a single cylinder hitting 7,5 - 8K is an event like no other.

I can understand that, the gearing change also lowers highway rpm's is why I wanted to do that. The big bore, ignition and head work is a winter project to go with gearing change.

Anything is possible, check the badweb or buellridersonline- you'll have better luck finding info on one of those two sites.

An xb pulley would be the same as what you have 27T, but wider of course. Baker makes a 28T and 29T and some tubers, s3t I think, use a 29T stock.

Wider wouldnt be a problem, I can always cut them down on a mill if needed. Ill have to look into the s3t to find out.
