I have a 05' XB9SX with the silver frame. I just did the DIY fender eliminator mod and want to paint it silver liek the frame. It was originally black. Is paint avaiable?

Now I got the paint and it matches the frame and swingarm perfectly BUT... it doesn't match the side rails. See the pic. They are a different color. http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/2039_20080724072339_L.jpg

What color would match this?

cut up that plate holder and if your going to take off the frame rails to paint them,polish em' or maybe black.

What do you mean cut up plate holder?

I don't want to take the side rails off. I want paint to match them so I can paint the tail.

license plate mount,they have nice,more compact units on the aftermarket sites,just my 2cents,not my ride.

I'm a 'bolt rider myself so I haven't had any experience with the Lightnings.... but do they actually use a different color on the seat subframe rails like that? or is Rocco's bike an odd man out?
