Looking to buy/feedback needed plz

New to the forum, what I have seen and read so far I like!. Not new to Harley's, have 2 with the oldest being 21 yrs. young, in my possession for 17 of those 21 yrs. so here it is...looking at getting a Buell and ran across this on CL,
X1,it's a 2002 with 10K on it, fuel inj. Was in rear end collision thus new forks,headlight. Powder coated frame with orange flake. Is the chain set up a good thing?. Brand new Avon tires, perf. Wheels and V&H exhaust. He's asking $4,500 what's it worth?

It looks like a nice bike with plenty of mods, but unless there is something I'm missing, $4500 is on the high side of crazy. There are XBs that aren't going for that much.

Nice use of a CR headlamp and mirrors. Certainly looks different and I doubt there's another one out there just like it.

yea all those mods have no value to the bike when it comes to a sale. Since it has a history of being hit, I would say a fair price would be 3000.

Great info Buell owners, I spoke to the cat selling, he states he is willing to wiggle a bit but not much. May have to search on?, the chain set up from what I have just read on here is not the best option for a stocker.

Depending on where you are 3500 isnt bad esp since thats becoming a rare bike.
