i was out with my wife the other day and we rolled up behind an older r6 with a blown gasket and it was smoking like crazy she leans up and says " it smells like his soy sauce is expired" i damn near fell of the bike.

I bought my bike as a yellow firebolt, got a great deal and was a good looking bike. Not a huge yellow fan though so changed it to black, I like it even more now. I always wanted a lightning but I guess the firebolt has grown on me because now I prefer the firebolt, front end and tail and all. Still like them both though, in every color!

I go back and forth on which one I like more. And I don't have one yet, so that works. I think my ideal bike the Firebolt with the Lightning tail...best of both worlds!

Maybe the Firebolt's looks are an "acquired taste". When I first saw one I started wondering how much work it would be to change the front end to something different - anything - LOL! Now I love the unique look and the character... wouldn't change it a bit. Still, it would be nice to ALSO have a Lightning!
