This may sound crazy but my blast has droped the idle air screw twice. Should I put some locktight on it?

No, put the spring on it.

at first the o ring was missing. So I bought a repack kit. Took it for a quick ride around the block and it would not idle when I get it back home. So I took a quick look and the screw had droped out. Replaced the screw and another repack kit, and it happened again

Did you put the spring on it and adjust it properly? When installed properly, there is a lot of tension on that screw, it does not simply fall out.

I tightened it lightly and then backed it out 2.5 turns

Do you have the spring on it?????

This still remains unanswered.

You need to tighten it all the way down, it will get very tensioned before you actually bottom it out.

Something isn't right if the spring tension does not hold it in place.

Teflon is merely a band-aid for another problem.

Maybe the screw was machined bad. I had seen on a other forum that a few people had issues with the thumb screw falling out. So they were putting teflon on it. This is the stock type of screw though
