haha well i have only had it a week, and its been recalled :( so no it's not fast enough cos it aint going anywhere.

but yeah it is pretty quick just wanna know what people are doing out there. any one done a open air box kinda thing like the xb. or is that not needed.

im looking into getting the 09 XB rear and modding to suit the rear or the CR (i just think the xb rear is so nice and minimal) also goin to put barend mirrors on just dont know where to put the indicators now i have a few ideas.

non of the exhaust's really stand out for me at moment, bike needs a belly pan to go with exhaust to fill in the empty space of the truck muffler.

most mods I'm looking into are aesthetic at moment, but wouldn't mind to make it breathe and exhaust better.

cheers

Hey Luna,

why don't you ride it one season, then you know and learn, what you'd like to do, and not.
Also, if you buy any exhaust now, you bet in one year or more, there are more options avaible for you. The bike is too new now. Wait!
As i see, free spirits just recently released their new fairings for the R model. So, cool down!
Maybe next year or in late summer first cr pieces will be avaible.
I know what you mean and understand the urge that drives you. I just left Buell and have now Z1000.
I have to get it through, - not to buy so many parts etc etc. The bikes become harder to sell. I had hell with mine and it was so perfect. Though, i wanted more acceleration, more high speed and better rpm range. The Z1K can suck anything dry when it come to bling bling extra extra (cash needed bad). Finally, congratulation to the new bike!
I think it's tough going for Buell again. Personally, i wouldn't, it is to difficult to get things spot on. Buells ecu/ecm's are to hard to get help with. Where i live no-one can make a XB run nearly as good as any Jap bike (injection).
Simply, there are no-one that have the "tools" or knowledge how to tune them. I know of only one workshop using ecmspy and really knows it and have the tools to make it all work. They are in EU, but far from where i live.

Screw wait!
Tomorrow a bus comes along and mows you down.
Then yer like, "Why'd I wait?"

Tomorrow something better comes out,
you buy a new one and sell the old one
to some poor schmuck like me who can't afford a new one.
