Hi I'm new to this forum.
Had a question for the forum.
Is anyone using this new buell as a trackbike?
I'm coming from supermoto and hate the sportbike position. I would like a big bike thats "NOT" a rice rocket. The only thing that worries me is the weight. I'm used to dirtbikes with slicks. If this does make a good trackbike does anyone sell a stripped down version?

Thanks for your input [up]

hi & welcome...

i would look into the cr version, seems from the reviews i read, it's holding it's own! better than the 1125r did at first.
the cr has smaller gearing so it takes off faster.

Didn't seem like the CR was as fun to ride, maybe it's just me...

As fun as what? I bet its not as fun as a FA-18, but what is? (not like I know)

Would the CR make a better Track bike since aerodynamics due come into play, with speed and rider fatigue?

Never risen either one, but if you watch AMA Buell easily holds it's own.

The R has the fairing which gives you some wind protection, thats the one I ride. The CR is a sweet looking bike, but felt different with the handlebar options. Go test ride, u get some free goodies!
