Find the Firebolt Lowering Post on here some where. It has all the part numbers you need. You will need all the parts.

Forks
Rear shock
Lower triple tree

Jabooty, here's the link for the Firebolt Lowering Post: Firebolt Lowering Kit (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Firebolt-XB12-XB9/Buell-aftermarket-parts/Firebolt-Lowering-Kit/2)

Ok, what is the purpose? What do you want with this?

You will get a really aggressive angle at the front.
From 21 degree to 20,.. or even lower. Ofcourse you get more weight at the front wheel and the all over weight lowered (that's good:)
Calculating at the wheelbase, 1320mm's, i think the bike needs more than 1 inch hightening of the rear end to make the steering head angle 1 degree lower.

the shorter suspension is what makes a 12Scg a 12Scg( not to mention the shorter seat). He did say he wants both front and rear. I think he just wants his bike lower. I would trade mine as well if I could.

I would love to do the same thing, but I'm not about to buy new forks on a bike that has 300 miles. My only option would be to find someone that is willing to swap.

I don't think this swap is possible on the ss. Something about the rear travel and interference. I'll try to dig up the info.

This swap will not work on an Ss model. The forks and rear shock are different completely.

There are companies out there making air ride set ups for XB's. You can also get the same effect with that set up.
