Ok. So, I managed to reroute that oil line through the half moon bracket under my bike. I began to put the actual exhaust on, but I ran into a problem with some of the hole alignment. I had an idea to remove the black metal bracket on the right side of the bike, and by doing this I solved the problem with the alignment. Is this what I am supposed to do? Remove the side bracket? I am sorry to bug you guys with all these posts, but the D&D instructions are low quality.

This is the bracket I was talking about. It is on the right side of the bike, and it is what the that big plastic cover bolts to. From what I can tell, the D&D exhaust is supposed to take the place of the bracket, and the plastic guard will then bolt to a couple of arms on the exhaust. This is the only solution I have found that allows for all of the screw holes to align on the pipes and the bike. I hope these pics are visible.

That's a jardine bracket, you will have to take off both sides to install the d&d pipe. The other bracket is installed under the kickstand, so you will need a way to support the bike upright to take it off.

Oh okay!! That makes so much sense now. I had noticed the one under the kickstand, but I had thought nothing of it. this helps so much!
