I work in sales at a HD and Buell dealership. In the past couple weeks I've had a couple BEEEMER guys stop in and ask if a Buell is a good long distance bike. I would ask them to have a seat and hand them the fall issue of Fuell opened up to the Beating Dead Horse. Most would give me a strange look when finished. Some would point out this sentence on page 23 "The rhythmic cadence of the power plant speaks reliability; so much so that the Buell would essentially run for four continuous days without even so much as a sputter." I had to laugh. John

Yeah, but yer ass still hurts after 500 miles.
And with every passing second it just gets worse!
I speak from long distance experience...

"It's a friggin' Buell, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears,
the seat should be hard and riding it should make you $hit your pants every now and then.
It's a fricking motorcycle, suck it up!"
