Latus Pipe For Sale

Up for sale is my Latus pipe. It was on my bike for about 1000 miles. What can I say about it... It's loud... No, it's really LOUD. If setting off the neighbors car alarm when you ride past is your kinda thing, then this is the pipe for you. No dings or dents in pipe. Chrome tips still shine. Note to all-

The Latus was a really nice exhaust can. Sadly, they aren't made anymore. They are indeed loud, but have a nice deep rumble to them compared to most exhausts I've heard. I had one on my 9R and absolutely loved it. Really nice tone. I now have a 12R with a D&D and actually would prefer the Latus if I was shopping for another exhaust.

I'm not affiliated with the seller. Just thought I'd provide a user-review on the Latus since there aren't many around for folks to listen to in person.

hey syd,how did the bike run with the pipe,good bottom end,top end? did you remap or just run the pipe? not doing the remap would lessen the pipes effect.

Pipe was on my 04 XB12S. I checked the fuel maps with ECM spy and it was stock. Definitely more topend than the stock pipe (My wife has a XB12SS that has the stock pipe). Spoke to Latus HD service dept and was told that it was not necessary to switch to the Race ECM and the stock would work. Of course with ECMspy you could tune for optimum performance. I just prefer a quieter pipe.

Quick Q before this pipe gets here. Are there any extra parts I will need to order from ASB to mount this up, or can i re-use the clamps and everything. Thanks.

All stock mounting hardware is used. You can either get the serve eliminator or just remove the cable from the servo.
