I am in need of a stator for my 05 xb12r. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the 9 and 12 have the same stator until 07.

Yes The Stock Engines do, it is best to buy new from American Sportbike .com or the Dealership. Check around cause a used one will just double the costs. We all have had issues with these Regulators and Stators. Usually with low miles also.If you like you could have it reworked by Ricks Motorsports or Custom Rewind. Hope this helps. *Jimi
