Sliding

Yet another question from me.
Is it just me or do any of you find the bike slide in a turn.
I feel more aggressive in left turns than right, but i'm just getting used to the bike so i'm not pushing the turns too much, althoigh i have felt the bike slide on me when i put a little more lean in to the turn.
What would cause this feeling.

[cool]I felt it a bit durring the first 150 miles or so, and only when I was like 35 degrees over, I figured it was just the factory tires wearing off this wax coating.[cool]

Thanks for the input lads. I've been riding more lately and weaving the bike a bit during slow rides, stuck in traffic to see if that will wear in the edges a bit. Still a little apprehensive at the mo to lean more just incase it slips out from under me, but again thanks for your help.
